Digital Marketing Manager

Company Overview

We are a growing e-commerce retailer specialising in bedding and home products, operating primarily through Shopify and social commerce platforms including TikTok Shop and Temu. As a small but expanding business, digital sales are the core driver of revenue.

Role Summary

The Digital Marketing Manager will be responsible for developing, implementing and managing the company's entire digital marketing strategy. The role carries full responsibility for online revenue growth, customer acquisition, digital brand development and performance optimisation across all e-commerce platforms.

This is a commercially focused position requiring both strategic planning and hands-on execution.

Key Responsibilities

1. Digital Strategy & Revenue Growth

  • Develop and implement the company's digital marketing strategy aligned with revenue targets.
  • Identify growth opportunities across Shopify, Temu and TikTok Shop.
  • Analyse sales data to optimise pricing, product visibility and promotions.

2. E-Commerce Platform Management

  • Oversee performance of Shopify store including product optimisation, landing pages and promotional campaigns.
  • Monitor and improve product listings on Temu and TikTok Shop.
  • Implement strategies to improve search visibility and product ranking on marketplace platforms.
  • Coordinate seasonal campaigns and promotional launches.

3. Paid Advertising & Performance Marketing

  • Plan and manage paid advertising campaigns across Meta (Facebook/Instagram), TikTok Ads and Google Ads.
  • Monitor advertising budgets and ensure positive return on ad spend (ROAS).
  • Conduct performance analysis and campaign optimisation.

4. SEO & Organic Growth

  • Conduct keyword research and implement on-page SEO improvements.
  • Improve organic search ranking of product listings.
  • Develop content strategies to drive organic traffic.

5. Social Media & Brand Development

  • Develop and manage the company's social media strategy.
  • Create and oversee short-form video marketing for TikTok.
  • Build brand awareness and customer engagement through consistent messaging.
  • Collaborate with micro-influencers and affiliate partners.

7. Budget & Commercial Oversight

  • Manage digital marketing budget allocation.
  • Ensure cost-effective campaign management.
  • Support overall commercial growth strategy of the business.

Person Specification

Essential:

  • Minimum 3 years' experience in digital marketing within e-commerce or retail.
  • Experience managing Shopify stores and online marketplaces.
  • Strong knowledge of paid advertising platforms (Meta, TikTok, Google).
  • Experience in performance marketing and data-driven optimisation.
  • Ability to manage marketing budgets and deliver measurable ROI.
  • Strong analytical and reporting skills.
  • Ability to work independently in a small business environment.

Desirable:

  • Experience with Temu marketplace.
  • Experience in social commerce strategy.
  • Knowledge of CRO (Conversion Rate Optimisation).
  • Experience using email marketing automation tools.
